John J. Joyce (Joe) is a native Floridian and grew up in Fort Myers, Florida. Joe graduated from the University of Florida cum laude in 2008 with a degree in East Asian Languages with a focus in Mandarin Chinese. Joe is a proud double Gator, as he attended and graduated from UF Law, where he was elected by his fellow students as president of the John Marshall Bar Association. After graduation, Joe began his legal career in the Live Oak public defender’s office, and shortly thereafter married his law school sweetheart and Live Oak native, Jackie Jo. He joined Robinson, Kennon & Kendron in 2013, where he practices in the areas of civil litigation and criminal defense. During his time at Robinson, Kennon and Kendron, Joe has appeared as counsel of record across the State of Florida, as well as in Federal Courts in the Middle and Northern Districts. He also serves as the Third Circuit Governor for the Young Lawyers Division of the Florida Bar. Joe was peer-rated “AV Preeminent” for professional excellence and ethics, which is the highest rating a lawyer can receive through Martindale Hubbell. Out of the office, Joe enjoys spending time with his wife and their Suwannee Bulldog, and watching Gator football and basketball.
